Summer’s in full swing — it’s hot and you’re thirsty and hungry? Well, I have a special and refreshing summer treat for you. It’s vegan, dairy-free and packed with healthy ingredients. This tropical vegan shake will provide energy and your tummy will be happy for many hours. For me, it’s hard to resist such an offer during these hot summer days.
If you’re looking for a refreshing and healthy vegan meal for breakfast, then this vegan shake recipe is perfect for you! The mix of oats, bananas, pineapple and oat milk gives it a natural sweetness, while the almonds bring some healthy fat, fiber, protein, magnesium and vitamin E.
Of all of the shakes I’ve made to date, this is definitely one of my favourites!
Tropical Vegan Shake Recipe
INGREDIENTS
- cup of ground almonds
- cup of ground oats
- a half of a small pineapple
- 3 bananas
- 1 tablespoons of coconut mousse
- 1/2l oat milk
- squeezed juice from 1 orange, 1 lemon and 1 lime
METHOD
Place all the ingredients into a blender, add more oat milk (depending on how thick and dense you like it) and blend until smooth.
