What is WordPress? WordPress is an Open Source project which means many people all over the world are volunteering and working on it and thanks to them you are free to use it for creating your own website or blog without paying anyone a license fee. It’s 100% free.

As an open source project, the source code of the software is available for anyone to study, modify and play with.

The first time I came in contact with WordPress it was due to my human’s work. They have a small WordPress theme shop Anariel Design and most of the days I am helping them with some small but important tasks ;). This is where my love for WordPress started.
